Brilio.net/en - Meanwhile in Japan, a new hot spring spa and resort named Hakone Kowakien Yunessun made a breakthrough in bathing. Taking advantage of the potential benefits of beverages on human skin, the spa creates pools with various beverages you can choose to bathe in. It is located at Hakone area, on Ashigarashimo District, in the Kanagawa Prefecture, just a short three-hours train ride from Narita airport in Tokyo.

As many as 25 different pool themes and water recreational activities are ready to provide fun moments to enjoy with family and friends. Beverages-themed pools are made with real drinks poured into the hot spring water for different detoxing health benefits. The green tea bath is poured through a big 2-meters tall Japanese teapot is taken from real green tea leaves picked at the foot of Tanzawa and Hakone mountains. Green tea is said to help skin retain a youthful look. It also contains Catechin, which is the antioxidant that fights tumors and enhances the immune system, all this on top of the green tea aroma that is smooth and relaxing.

The traditional Japanese alcohol sake has its own fame in a pool in which real sake flows from a huge sake cask. They say sake is good for the skin, especially for sun spots. The coffee pool lets you recover from fatigue and adds beauty to the skin by reducing cellulite, with a regular dose of real coffee being added to the pool a few times a day. Imagine smelling the coffee aroma while relaxing here!

What is likely to excite more of the international tourists is the wine spa, which is easy to recognize with its huge 3.6 meters wine bottle from which the wine pours into the hot spring. Made out of the real red wine, the liquid is good for body rejuvenation and rich of antioxidants. It was said that the Egyptian Queen Cleopatra herself loved to bathe in wine in addition to her famous milk spas.

Their main and largest facilities are The God's Aegean Sea and the Ancient Roman Baths with interior design imitating the themes, with their own benefits and facilities. The other water attractions available here are the Rodeo Mountain with three water slides, Sanctuary of Water, Mist Sauna, Foot Bathing Place, Turkish Hamam, Green Terrace, Dragon Waterfall, Boxappy's Jungle Gym, Hot Spring Cave, and Hakone Geyser. Meanwhile for the spas they have the Finnish Bath, Floating Bath, Waterfall Spa, Aromatic Spa, Tea Room, Charcoal Spa, Rock-lined Spa, and Cold-Water Spa. Also, they have a shallow pool for barefoot massage, a large heated swimming pool, and resting place with warmed rocks.

The entrance ticket allows for a daily tour, that is divided for with swimsuits or for those more daring that enjoy a nude bath in the forest of hot water. There are different price tags for adults (JPY 4,100 or USD 38.5) and children (JPY 2,100 or USD 19.7). Prices for seniors over 60 years old and handicapped customers are cheaper, while children below 3 can enter for free.

The whole complex is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is completed with restaurants, beauty and aesthetic massage salons, Uki Uki swimsuit rental shop, Sun Park games and recreation centre for kids, and a shopping centre called as Mio Mall. This is definitely a fun recreational day trip for the whole family and surely worth the price!
