Aside from the marvelous beaches, Balinese temples, locally known as pura, will pull you back to the island over and over again. if you dont have much time in Bali, here are the shortlisted, most photogenic temples you have to visit. Lies under the shadow of Mount Lempuyang in the eastern tip of Bali, Lempuyang Luhur Temple considered one of the most supreme places of worship on the island. It offers a picture-perfect scenery of Amed Beach and the majestic Mount Agung, the highest mountain peak in Bali. There are macaque monkeys here, but dont get too close to them.

Lempuyang Luhur is one of the Sad Kahyangan, six holiest temples in Bali. The others are Uluwatu Temple, Goa Gajah Temple, Batukaru Temple, Besakih Temple, and Pusering Jagat Temple.

Nestled in the middle of Ubuds lush rainforest, Gunung Lebah offers serenity and tranquility a la Bali. The old temple, which is a perfect blend of nature and culture, managed to maintain its original structure and the beautiful stone carvings in its architecture. You will come across this temple on your passage to the infamous Campuhan Ridge Walk.

3. Rambut Siwi Temple (Jembrana)

Legend has it that anyone who prays in this temple will walk the Earth safely and prosperous, thanks to the sacred hair of Hindu prophet Danghyang Dwijendra that tucked in one of the temples buildings. The temple itself nestled in beautiful green rice terraces at one side, and a cliff with the roaring ocean at another. You can also see scenic Balinese villages in the distance.
