Brilio.net/en - If you are frequent traveler, you no doubt understand the pain of lugging around heavy luggage, that can make a journey significantly less pleasurable. But, not with the upcoming high-tech suitcase.

An Israeli company NUA Robotics has invented a hands free suitcase by implementing smart technology, making your heavy luggage follows you anywhere you go.

Though its still a prototype, it has been publically announced that the luggage is featured Bluetooth connected to smartphone app. The built-in camera sensor allows the luggage to monitor wherever you go and in addition, the anti-theft alarm is also installed to prevent someone snatching it away when you are not looking. It also comes with a backup battery to charge all devices, brilliant, huh?

Alex Libman, founder of NUA Robotics explained that by communicating with our smartphone, we can control or make it follows us, as well as avoid any obstacles.

Were combining sensor network, computer vision, and robotics. So if you download our app, press the follow me button, the luggage recognizes the specific user and knows to follow and communicate, he added.

The company is still on its way in improving features like speed and customization while hoping that the invention could be finished this year. NUA also revealed if this hands free suitcase is successful, they also want the Bluetooth pairing technology to automate more devices like shopping carts at the supermarket where it would come in handy for elderly or the physically disabled.
