Brilio.net/en - Ten months since the beginning of the season, Leicester City made history by winning the best league in the world. Believe it or not, this is a club which has spent many seasons in the lower tiers of English football. In fact, they were only recently promoted to play amongst the elite clubs. Nicknamed the Fantasy Foxes, it is ironic that they have lived up to the fantasy throughout the course of the season.

Leicester City's triumph is nowhere close to a coincidence. They have played with passion, desire, confidence and determination all season long. The ultimate factor that led to their success, however, was the excellent teamwork that they displayed on the pitch in every single game. Individually, they were no less astounding. The outstanding individual skills of the players earned some of their superstars some additional awards too. Amongst those are Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy, who set new records for both the club and the league by winning the Player of the Year awards. Jamie Vardy also broke Ruud Van Nistelrooys record by scoring in 11 consecutive games!

The man behind Leicester Citys remarkable success is their Italian manager Claudio Ranieri, who lifted the auspicious trophy for the first time ever. His managing career in England had begun over a decade ago where he managed Chelsea, but he wasn't able to propel the club to win the title back then. When he arrived at Leicester City Football Club last year, he was just another manager in the eyes of their fans. Little did they know what was to come. Now he's earned himself the fame, and undoubtedly deserves every bit of it.

Today, the club is living the dream that they never ever imagined would be a reality. Nobody saw this coming. And the celebrations are endless. Most recently, the club travelled to Thailand, the proud hometown of the clubs owners. They were welcomed by thousands of fans who excitedly joined in the party. Their achievement certainly leaves a huge mark in history. Above all, it gives hope to not just football clubs across the globe, but also to every team in the world of sport. It goes to show that no matter what you want to achieve, it is possible to do so. As Adidas famously quoted, Impossible is nothing.
