Brilio.net/en - An asteroid, which is about 100 feet wide, may come perilously close to our planet, even closer than the Moon next month.
On March 5th, an asteroid called 2013 TX68 is predicted to pass Earth. The asteroid is only 11,000 miles away, which means its distance is 21 times closer to Earth than the Moon.
The 2013 TX68 was primarily discovered in 2013 when it made its first fly-by, but nowadays, it could get even closer to our planet.
Fear not! NASA stated that the maximum distance can be 9 million miles away.

NASA's center for Near Earth Object Studies exposed that it would be difficult to get the exact prediction about its orbit as it is a newly-discovered asteroid.
"This asteroids orbit is quite uncertain, and it will be hard to predict where to look for it," Paul Chodas told The Express.
"There is a chance that the asteroid will be picked up by our asteroid search telescopes when it safely flies past us next month, providing us with data to more precisely define its orbit around the sun."
The next time the asteroid is due for a fly-by is in 2017, when the possibilities of that 2013 TX68 will slam into Earth are one in 250 million.
