Brilio.net/en - Somewhere in the far reaches of space, the Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 spacecrafts are gathering information.

First launched in 1977, the space missions conducted by NASA were meant to collect data on outer space. The mission has notably sent back information on gas giants Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.

What not many people know is that the spacecrafts are not intended to return back to Earth. NASA scientists decide that the Voyager mission should keep barreling towards the outer quadrants of space. What many don't know as well is both spacecrafts carry along with them something called the "Golden Record."

Back when it was first conceived, NASA tapped renowned astronomer Carl Sagan and compiled 116 pictures that would explain the very existence of humanity on Earth. It's purpose? Just in case if any passing by extraterrestrial beings should intercept the Voyager spacecrafts.

The records are mounted outside on the body of the Voyager spacecrafts along with instructions on how to decode the contents inside.

Any ETs that come across the Golden Record are bound to have jolly good time browsing through the content. Aside from said 116 pictures, the record also contain spoken greetings in 50 languages, a compilation of sounds from Earth, and also 90 minutes of music from around the world.
