The King does not travel light.

King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud is scheduled to visit Indonesia next week.

The last Saudi Arabian King's visit to Indonesia was 47 years ago.

The King is scheduled to meet President Joko Widodo on March 1. The king will stay until March 4 to visit the House of Representatives, Istiqlal Mosque and some businessmen.

Then, hewill fly to Bali for a five-day holiday until March 9.

During the bilateral meetings, King Salman and President Joko Widodo willdiscuss Hajj quota increase, tourism and protection for Indonesians living in Saudi Arabia.

But peoples attention is not on the meeting topic. It's on the King's group.

He is bringing an entourage of around 1,500 people, including ten ministers and 25 princes.

They are for security, logistics and many more, Foreign Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Arrmanatha Natsir said today.

He added that the big group will not join King Salmans official bilateral meeting.

For the bilateral meeting, it wont be a thousand. Its going to be quite the same size as our group when we visited Saudi Arabia back then. We had 14-15 officials, and so do they now, he said.

The entourage will arrive in seven planes six wide-body Boeings and one Hercules at military base turned commercial airport Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, East Jakarta.

Cargoes of logistics have been arriving in Halim Perdanakusuma Airport and Balis Ngurah Rai Airport since Tuesday morning including King Salmans special escalator.
