Java Jazz Is Back With Even Greater Lineup This Year

This year’s lineup promises a diverse taste of Jazz.

Java Jazz Festival has been a part of music lovers annual plan since 2005.

This year, the festival returns with a promising lineup of local and international musicians.

The festival will take place on March 3, 4 and 5 at its usual venue JIEXPO Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

Three times Grammy winner Sergio Mendes is the highlight of this years festival.

If you want a twist, this years stage is also welcoming jazz pianist Chick Corea who will perform with his band Chick Corea Electric Band.

Or, if you still cant get enough of Incognito, who has been on Java Jazz stage numerous time, this years stage will feature him again. Were sure that the crowd size will not get any lesser, though.

There will also be Bebel Gilberto, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Mezzoforte, Morgan James, Nik West, Blood Sweat & Tears feat Bo Byce, Dylan Elise, & Leonardo Amuedo, Chieli Minucci and many more.

This years Java Jazz also provides options for those who prefer local talent as Afgan, Andien, Hi-Vi, Endah & Rhesa x Duadrum are set to take the stages. But, what were really waiting for are the Tribute to Whitney Houston session with Dira Sugandi, Lea Simanjuntak, Kamasean and Soundwave on Friday and the 90s Hip Hop All Stars concert featuring Iwa K, NEO, and Sweet Martabak on Saturday.
