Its a tragedy of tragedies. A young boy was left in the words in northern Hokkaido by his parents as punishment, for what no doubt no seems like a minor and insolent crime in hindsight. And hes been missing ever since.
To make matters worse, the young child has been missing since the 27th. And Hokkaido is known for its rampant wild boar population in the cold island of Northern Japan.
The couple added some tension to the story by not fully confessing that they had in good conscience left him alone to punish him. What they hoped would be a five minute time-out when horribly wrong as he was missing when they returned supposedly minutes later. The couple had apparently only walked 500 meters before returning for the child, but unfortunately to no avail.

At first the couple told police officers that he had gone missing while he was looking for vegetables, but that turned out not to be true. The father of the young boy eventually told a TV Asahi reporter that he did not want to admit the truth while requesting a search, but eventually as the clocked ticked on decided to change his mind.
Hundred of emergency service workers are still combing the thick woods in search of the boy. We can only send prayers and well wishes from abroad.
