Brilio.net/en - Coffee has always been a popular beverage amongst Indonesians. From local street vendors to Starbucks outlets, you simply wouldnt face any trouble in treating yourself to a cup of coffee. The successes in its local consumption have tempted the Indonesian Embassy to forge a partnership with the Norwegian Tourism Association, with the intent to promote coffee to the Norwegian community.

To those of you who are unfamiliar with Norwegian coffee culture, well, they are generally coffee-lovers themselves. Earlier this month, some of Indonesias coffee packages were introduced at a populous tourism fair in Norway called Reiselivsmessen. The fair, which is held annually, attracted close to an overwhelming 50,000 people.

The fundamental purpose behind this idea was to spread the knowledge on Indonesian coffee and educate the public towards the processes involved in producing it. During the duration of this event, cups of coffee were offered to visitors to excite their taste buds.

For many years, local farmers have dedicated their time in coffee plantations, making Indonesia one of the top coffee bean producers and exporters in the industry. We should appreciate their work and the exciting fact that Indonesias coffee has transcended boundaries all the way to Norway!
