Brilio.net/en - For all the eco-conscious folks out there, rejoice! A death suit made of mushroom is now available to give a way for you to leave the planet as gentle as you have entered it.

Resembling a fashion from Japanese sci-fi comics, this infinity burial suit is a one-piece garment designed to be worn in the afterlife. The black suit is sewn with mushroom sporeinfused thread. When buried, the mushroom spores act to cleanse the body of many toxins and gently return it to the earth," according to the company website.

The technology employed will speed up the corpse decomposition, It remediates toxins we accumulate over a lifetime, and it speeds nutrient delivery back to plants, said the co-founder, Mike Ma.

The idea of this burial suit was first announced during the TED Talk in 2011 by the researcher/founder, Jae Rhim Lee. However through his New York based company, Coeio, it was announced that this suit will finally going to be commercially available midway through 2016.

Not only environmentally friendly, this mushroom suit also provides cost-effective alternative. It will sell for about $999, significantly less than the $7,181 the average funeral cost in the US in 2014.

The suit itself is a work of art thanks to designers such as Daniel Silverstein, who has designed clothing for Jennifer Hudson and Kristen Bell.

We still care a lot about the ceremony and fashion, so it can still be beautiful, said Ma.

With this death-suit, conscious folks can sure reach the new goal of not only sustainable living, but also sustainable dying.
