Brilio.net/en -In one of Ben Affleck's most recent starring roles, the actor plays Christian Wolff, a genius freelance accountant who works all the numbers for criminal organizations. Having been diagnosed with autism from an early age, his father raised them with an iron fist, making sure the boys are equipped with self-defense techniques for when the going gets tough.

Growing up, his dad's job required them to move around a lot, specifically to 34 different locations in just 17 year, and included on that list is Indonesia, where the Wolff brothers were shown learning the art ofpencak silat.

Dirctor Gavin O'Connor directed a scene that's bound to amuse Indonesians, with the father seen reading a newspaper with the word "Jakarta" written across the front page while the boys learn from an Indonesian pencak silat coach who realized they may be taking more training than they're physically ready to. When the coach tried talking his father into letting them end the session, Wolff jumped in with fluent Indonesian, saying, "it's OK, carry on."

Pencak silat is an Indonesian traditional martial art that focuses on full-body fighting form, with techniques such as grappling, strikes, throwin, and also uses certain weaponry. This particular brand of martial arts have been enjoying popularity among Hollywood filmmakers, mostly thanks to The Raid, which introduced it to the mainstream crowd in 2012.
