Brilio.net/en - A new Youtube web-series is now airing on the NM Channel. The movie is Airis, and tells the story of a teenage superhero schoolgirl who gives her best efforts to get out of daily problems in the most effective and creative ways. The idea of superhero here is not a grand one as seen in DC or Marvels comics, but as a message that we all can be our own superhero in our normal lives, simply by thinking out of the box to help us get out of any trouble.
The main girl character Airis (or originally Iris as explained in the first episode) played by a new young actress Saphira Ayudya Putri Wardhana. The movie shows Airis daily life as high school student and how she is struggling with the condition that her single mom is now bankrupt. She uses her creative ideas to get solutions for her problems and, by that, becomes a superhero in her own imaginative world.

What makes this series even more unique is that Airis is giving tips in a clip that follows after each episode. In the first episode she gave a D.I.Y. tutorial on making virtual reality gadget, and simple beauty tips for the second episode, that are applicable for all teenagers who want to stay up to date with the trend on a limited budget. The whole idea of this movie is giving young people positive lessons for a simple, creative, environmentally safe, and cost effective solutions for everyday dilemmas, in the most subtle and interesting way, by giving examples through Airis life.

The whole movie is produced by Sembilan Matahari, cross-disciplines studio founded in 2007 by Adi Panuntun that is famous for their bold creations and innovations, like the video mapping on a few historical buildings in Jakarta and Bandung. The company is focusing on creative visuals and based in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. Until today they had won several awards regarding films and art visions since 2009.

For movie Airis, Sembilan Matahari is working together with several other parties in Bandung, such as infobdg.com and Bandung Film Council, and supported by local brands. The soundtracks is filled by melodious voice of Teman Sebangku. And as continuous post-film engagement they spread a campaign of #jadiairis and #heroeseverywhere, for we all can be our own hero.
