Problem is, when your partner turns your day blue and have to turn to your friends for a shoulder to cry on, they may try to reassure you that everything is okay and that it will all work out in the end. Well, its time to wake up!

1. Lacking empathy

Of course, you dont need an overly emotional partner, but what if they dont seem to have any emotions whatsoever? Normal people should certainly show signs of empathy and sympathy. So if youve gone through problems in your relationship without any display of compassion or vulnerability, you can say somethings wrong.
2. Lying all the time

This isnt just for the big lies, habitual white lies are the same. Emotional psychopaths have a tendency to lie about everything, which provides an unstable foundation for a relationship. So be wary if you find your partner develops this habit.
3. Humiliating you in front of people

Your lover is supposed to give you support and encouragement. So if youre in the opposite reality where your partner tends to humiliate you in front of people, it means they dont care about your feelings. Instead of building you up, they would rather tear you down
4. Craving attention and not giving any

An emotional psychopath used to have a high demand for attention, but ironically rarely provide the same thing in return. They want you to fulfill their needs, but hoping for them giving the same attention will cause you headache. This unhealthy cycle leads to a one-sided relationship.

6. Keeping you only for themselves

Being isolated from the outer world is one of worst things can happen in a relationship. As we mentioned above, emotional psychopaths crave attention and they will make sure you dont give any to anyone else. They will monopolize and isolate you from your family and friends. Theyll discourage you from having any other social interactions because theyll make you believe that you have you have all you could ever need for them.
7. Blackmailing you

If you happen to do things your significant other doesnt like, they will hardly confront you in a gentle way. Instead, theyll become mad and may even blackmail you. In serious cases, emotional psychopaths may threaten their partners so much so that they physically harm themselves, or even commit suicide.
8. Never show feelings of remorse

Despite all of the bad things they do, emotional psychopaths barely show remorse. Seems as if the words Im sorry arent in their dictionary, no matter the situation. They tend to blame you for all problems in your relationship. In some situations, they might say sorry, but its only a lip service because they will hurt you again with the same thing.
9. Having a sadistic sense of humour

Everyone has various types of humour, but emotional psychopaths are on their own level. They find comedy in things most people find disgusting or pathetic. Their awful sense of humour may only seem strange at first, but it evolves and becomes creepy and disturbing.
10. They are extremely charming, after all

Ironically, despite all of the pain they have caused and negative behaviors they displayed, emotional psychopaths lovers are often extremely charismatic and charming. Just when you think youve had enough, they use their charm to convince you that everythings going to be alright. This can be the biggest part of the problems (you dont have enough courage to end it all), but its during these times that you have to remember the rest of the story.
When some of these 10 signs sound familiar to you, maybe its the right time to move on! Just stand up for yourself and end the relationship. The sooner you do so, the better off youll be. You deserve someone whod love you better after all.
